Ocean City couple located after Silver Alert

Police in Ocean City, N.J., said an elderly couple reported missing on Saturday were located Sunday evening at a shopping mall in Jackson Township, about 90 minutes drive from Ocean City.

Describing the couple as "safe and sound," an Ocean City police spokesman said they apparently approached a security guard at the mall and asked for help finding their way back home.

John Bligh, 78, and his wife, Ellen, 70, were last seen around 3:30 p.m. Saturday leaving their home on the 1900 block of Glenwood Drive in a 2004 white Toyota Camry.

Family members told police that the Blighs sometimes become confused and may be in the early stages of Alzheimer's or dementia.
