Reward in fatal shooting of 8-year-old Camden girl increased to $76,000

The reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible in the fatal shooting an 8-year-old Camden girl last week was raised Monday to $76,000, police announced.

The reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible in the fatal shooting an 8-year-old Camden girl last week was raised Monday to $76,000, police announced.

Gabrielle Hill Carter was struck in the head by a stray bullet Wednesday night while she was playing outside across the street from her house in the 900 block of South Eighth Street. She died Friday at Cooper University Hospital.

Police said several men opened fire on another person and shot the girl instead.
