Authorities in Western Pennsylvania's Johnstown are investigating the early Saturday morning deaths of a man and woman as a possible murder-suicide.

Authorities in Western Pennsylvania's Johnstown are investigating the early Saturday morning deaths of a man and woman as a possible murder-suicide.

Johnstown police said neighbors heard a couple having a dispute in a house in the city's west end and then heard two gunshots.

Cambria County Coroner Dennis Kwiatkowski said Demont Morris, 40, and his estranged wife, Royale Lee Morris, 38, were pronounced dead at 12:42 a.m. Saturday.

Kwiatkowski said the man was believed to have shot the woman before turning the gun on himself. Kwiatkowski said Royale Lee Morris lived in the unit with the couple's two children, who are now staying with relatives.
