Kingsessing man indicted in theft of bills
A Kingsessing man was indicted Thursday on charges that he stole $20,000 in uncirculated $100 bills from a US Airways flight in October, the U.S. Attorney's Office said. Alex Price, 25, of the 5500 block of Malcolm Street, was charged with theft from an interstate shipment, prosecutors said.

Price, a US Airways baggage handler, took the bills from a $192 million currency shipment that was flown from Dallas to Philadelphia en route to the Federal Reserve in East Rutherford, N.J., prosecutors said. Price confessed to the Oct. 11 theft after his arrest, and the bills - featuring a new design not yet in circulation - were recovered, authorities said. - Inquirer staff
