GOP spent $113,622 but lost three Delran seats

The tab for Republicans' campaign for two council seats and the mayor's office in Delran came to $113,622.31. Campaign filings with the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission show that the GOP slate spent double that of its Democratic rivals in last month's election. Of that, $40,740 came from the Burlington County Republican Committee. Democrats won all three seats by wide margins. Delran has just 9,374 registered voters.
