Mount Laurel crash kills Moorestown driver, 57

A Moorestown man was killed early Monday when he drove into a concrete barrier in Mount Laurel, police said.

Babe T. Kubo, 57, had been driving a van east on Marne Highway near the New Jersey Turnpike when it went off the road and hit the barrier shortly after 3:30 a.m., Mount Laurel police said.

Kubo was pronounced dead at the scene. Police were investigating the cause of the accident.
