Kansas man held in $200,000 Montco theft

A Kansas man is accused of using a forklift and tractor-trailer to steal nearly $200,000 of material from Superior Tube in Lower Providence Township.

Teddy Marks, 22, is scheduled for a preliminary hearing today in Montgomery County District Court on charges of burglary, theft, and other crimes. Surveillance cameras caught him hauling away $195,488 worth of metal and tubing from the company on March 31, the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office said.

Marks was arrested in Indiana and was in the Montgomery County Correctional Facility, where his bail was $300,000. - Derrick Nunnally
