Body wrapped in plastic found in Chester lot

Chester authorities were trying to identify a man whose body was found wrapped in plastic in a vacant lot early Friday afternoon, police said.

Police were dispatched at 1:18 p.m. to the 100 block of Central Avenue, where the body was found in an overgrown wooded area. Paramedics pronounced the man, who was black, dead at the scene. The cause of death was not immediately available.
