Woman struck and killed by truck in Bucks County

A 57-year-old Philadelphia woman was killed when she was run over by a big-rig truck Wednesday evening in Bucks County, the county coroner said.

The accident happened at 6:13 p.m. at 121 Wheeler Court in Middletown Township, Bucks County Coroner Joseph Campbell said. The driver had dropped off a trailer and was making a three-point turn when the tractor struck the woman, who worked at the site. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are investigating the accident, which was caught on surveillance video, Campbell said. - Robert Moran
