Man charged with fatal shooting in Paulsboro
A 27-year-old man has been charged with fatally shooting a Camden man last month in Paulsboro, authorities said Thursday. Daron Trent of Hamilton, N.J., was in custody at the Mercer County Correctional Center for violating conditions of his bail in an unrelated aggravated assault case when he was charged Dec. 14 with Jamaal Barker's death, the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office said.

Barker, 25, was shot around 10 p.m. on Nov. 30 near the 300 block of West Washington Street. He died at the scene.
Trent is in custody with bail set at $750,000 on homicide and weapons charges. - Darran Simon
