It's been a year and 10 months since nearly 3 million Pennsylvania voters cast ballots for Donald Trump for president.

Trump carried the state by a slim 0.73 percent margin over Hillary Clinton, a keystone to his 2016 presidential victory.

If you were among that group, we'd like to speak with you.

Are you still glad you cast that ballot? Have any regrets? Are you not quite sure?

Trump is a significant factor in this year's midterm election in Pennsylvania. The Republican nominees for the U.S. Senate and governor, U.S. Rep. Lou Barletta and former state Sen. Scott Wagner, touted the president's support in a raucous political rally in Wilkes-Barre in August.

An Aug. 30 Franklin & Marshall College Poll of likely Pennsylvania voters found 67 percent who intended to support a Democrat in the U.S. Congress were motivated by opposition to Trump while 74 percent supporting a Republican were doing so to support the president.

That poll also found 57 percent of Pennsylvania voters had an unfavorable view of Trump while 39 percent held a favorable view. That's in keeping with recent national polls by Quinnipiac University and CNN.

An average of national polls compiled by the website Real Clear Politics shows Trump with a disapproval rating of 53.5 percent and approval at 41 percent.

News about the presidency can feel like a tale of two Trumps, strong economic factors like job growth and unemployment juxtaposed with the ongoing criminal probe of Russian government interference in the 2016 presidential election and tangential investigations that have seen former top advisers to the president pleading guilty to or convicted on felony charges.

We'd also like to stay in touch.

We're building a list of voters we will contact occasionally to discuss President Trump's performance in policy and politics.

To do so, we need everyone's full name, the town and county in Pennsylvania where they live, and their telephone number. This contact information will not be made public.
