NEWTOWN Newtown Township is looking to fill seats on its newly created Economic Development Committee. The focus of the seven-member panel will include attracting businesses to the township as well as examining possible economic development and redevelopment opportunities.
NEWTOWN Newtown Township is looking to fill seats on its newly created Economic Development Committee.
The focus of the seven-member panel will include attracting businesses to the township as well as examining possible economic development and redevelopment opportunities.
The township is looking for people with backgrounds in real estate, development and finance. Committee members will be expected to dedicate a reasonable amount of their time, including attending meetings working on projects.
Resumes will be accepted until Dec. 31. They should be submitted to Kurt Ferguson, 100 Municipal Drive, Newtown. Pa. 18940 or by e-mail to kurtf@twp.newtown.pa.us.
