Barbara Erie Deiter Drill, 59, formerly of Richboro, Bucks County, died Thursday, April 19, at Baptist Medical Center/South in Jacksonville, Fla., of colon cancer.
A graduate of Abington High School, Mrs. Drill was licensed as a certified public accountant in Florida and Pennsylvania after graduating with a master's degree in business management from Central Michigan University. "She never hurt anyone, never said unkind words, and was head of the line to help anyone," said her husband, Herb, a retired Inquirer obituary writer.
"Barb epitomized the meaning of family and loved to bring her family together for a home-cooked meal and a loving embrace," her sister, Deborah Erie, added.
Mrs. Drill was an ardent Phillies and Eagles fan. She was an active member of Hadassah, the Zionist women's organization, and of Congregation Kehillah Chadashah in Jacksonville.
