Letters: On Solomon & other brand names
SITTING UNDER the hair dryer reading Solomon Jones' recent Saturday column about pancake mix, I was laughing hysterically. (Forgive me if the articles are not intended to be funny.)

I'm not sure if I could give up Aunt Jemima pancake for any brand ever. It made me think of the time I took my daughter shopping at the Save-a-Lot. I was picking up stuff with name brands I never heard of.
Just as the cart was half full, I looked at my daughter and said, "I can't do this."
She said, "What?" I said, "I am going to Pathmark,
I don't know any of this stuff." We left the cart and went to Pathmark. So tell me, Solomon, how were
the pancakes?
