Letters: Sick people more important than trees

RE THE decision on Fox Chase Cancer Center and Burholme Park:

I'd like to thank Judge John Herron and Timothy Kearney and the other opponents of the expansion for . . . nothing.

I guess the neighbors of Fox Chase and the park never visited the hospital and counted the non-smiling faces. See for yourselves the pain and agony we're all going through.

Three weeks ago, a man was there for his first chemo treatment and was really upset. Do you and the judge think that anyone sitting around the hospital cares about a few trees?

The Ryerss will was broken years ago with the building of Jeanes Hospital and the Fox Chase center - past the statute of limitations, if you ask us patients. How often do you walk in the part of the park where the hospital wanted its new wing?
