RE KERITH Gabriel's

"High and Inside"

column of June 2:

I have a plan for all the players on the Miami Heat, Phoenix Suns, Florida Marlins, New York Mets and anyone else who wants to jump on the bandwagon to oppose the Arizona law protecting our citizens and our border.

These players make millions of dollars a year. My suggestion: Start a fund to support all of these people who've entered our country illegally, and who are demanding rights they're not entitled to. This would take a big burden off the taxpayers.

Our country is built on laws, and thousands of servicemen and women put their lives on the line every day to preserve our freedom. The least we can do is keep people honest and not succumb to politically correct misguided radicals who worry more about profiling than honoring our nation.

A footnote to the Chicago White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen: You have some nerve to call Americans lazy, and the excuse that illegals do the work Americans won't do is ridiculous.

Our country survived long before illegal immigration, and we'll survive long after the American people wake up and stand up for their rights. The wealthy are the biggest offenders, hiring landscapers, housekeepers and nannies. The government should hit them in the wallet and make them pay for lowering our country's standard of living. As I read on a fortune cookie: "The only good is knowledge, the only evil is ignorance."
