RE LAVETA JONES' May 10 op-ed (
"Strangers on a Train"
), about a man videotaping the electrical equipment at Wayne Junction and subsequent videotaping of the Gallery:
I agree with Ms. Jones wholeheartedly that Philadelphia is very lax and nonchalant about security at our train stations. Every time I board the El at the Frankford/Pratt station, I see very few SEPTA police officers, and the ones who are there are talking among themselves at the customer-service center.
Wise up, SEPTA security personnel. It only takes one crazed lunatic to harm hundreds of our citizens. Please try to be more vigilant and professional.
