Letters: Police should know the gun laws
RE CAPT. Di Lacqua's letter: I agree the gun incident was probably a setup. But being in law enforcement, I think the most important part of the job is to know the law. Without that, the cops are just glorified vigilantes dispensing justice as they see fit. I'd rather see a legally holstered gun on somebody than not know who is legally packing. And I don't know too many criminals who'd walk around with guns in plain sight.
