Thank you for Stu Bykofsky's piece about bicyclists. Ninety-eight percent of the bicyclists in Center City are a menace and should be off the streets. They ignore traffic lights. They ride dangerously through automobile traffic. Too often they are heedless of the bike lanes. Last week I was driving along Spruce Street headed for 22nd Street when a bicycler swerved out of the bike lane just in front of my car without signaling. Two blocks behind us, she had peddled through a red light. Can't these bicyclists be licensed and fined for dangerous driving before someone gets killed?
