Blume book on stage
Author Judy Blume's popular novel
Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing
hits the stage Friday evening at the Upper Darby Performing Arts Center.
Presented by Theatreworks USA and Two Beans Productions at 7:30 p.m., this adaptation tells the story of Peter Hatcher's struggle with an end-of-the-school-year assignment to write about the most important thing that happened to him during fourth grade.
This proves a daunting task for the 9-year-old, who recounts events of the year and must deal with Fudge, his toddler terror of a brother.
