The Eagles have dismissed Dan Baker, their public address announcer for 29 seasons.

Team president Don Smolenski said the team will present a

"multimedia experience" in its game-day coverage for fans.

Baker also is the Phillies' longtime P.A. announcer.

The Eagles will recognize Baker at their Sept. 7 opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
