Devlin on target as Hens top UMass

Pat Devlin threw touchdown passes to four different receivers as Delaware routed Massachusetts, 45-27, on Saturday in Amherst, Mass.

Rob Jones, Andrew Pierce, Phillip Thaxton, and Colin Naugle all caught TD passes as the Hens (9-1, 6-1) rolled up 510 yards of total offense to beat the Minutemen (6-4, 4-3) and grab a share of the Colonial Athletic Association championship.

Rowan 27, College of New Jersey 7 - Steve Hevalow rushed for three TDs to lead the Profs (9-1, 8-1) past the Lions (5-5, 5-4) in a New Jersey Athletic Conference game in Ewing, N.J. Rowan shares the NJAC title with Montclair State and Cortland State.

Widener 28, Delaware Valley 27 - Chris Haupt threw an 11-yard touchdown pass to tight end Michael Penna with no time remaining in the game, then hooked up with wideout Cedric Clayton on the two-point conversion as the Pride (5-5, 4-3) stunned the eighth-ranked Aggies (8-2, 6-1) in a Middle Atlantic Conference game in Doylestown. Delaware Valley will learn its NCAA Division III playoff opponent on Sunday.

Lebanon Valley 28, Albright 13 - The Dutchmen (6-4, 5-2 MAC) won the season finale over the Lions (5-5, 3-4) in Annville, Pa.

Ursinus 41, Dickinson 21 - Justin Decristofaro threw 70- yard TD passes to Al Desiderio and Nick Giarratano in the fourth quarter to lead the Bears (8-2, 7-2) past the Raiders (3-7, 3-6) in a Centennial Conference game in Collegeville. Ursinus shares the conference title with Muhlenberg and Johns Hopkins.

Gettysburg 57, Franklin & Marshall 35 - Kody Smith was 19 for 28 for 281 yards and three TDs as the Bullets (6-4, 5-5) won the Centennial Conference game over the visiting Diplomats (6-4, 5-4).

Moravian 14, Muhlenberg 13 - David Wacker blocked a third-quarter field-goal attempt and Patrick Gordon blocked an extra-point with 1:05 to play to give the Greyhounds (6-4, 6-3 Centennial) the win over the Mules (7-3, 7-2) in Bethlehem, Pa.

Lehigh 24, Georgetown 7 - Jay Campbell rushed for 118 yards and a TD and the Mountain Hawks (8-2, 4-0) clinched the Patriot League title with the win over the Hoyas (3-7, 2-3) in Washington.

Holy Cross 37, Lafayette 27 - Ryan Taggart passed for two TDs and rushed for two more to lead the Patriots (5-5, 2-2 Patriot) past the Leopards (2-8, 1-3) in Easton, Pa. Lafayette QB Ryan O'Neil also had a career day, going 35 for 42 for 335 yards and four TDs.

Colgate 31, Bucknell 7 - Nate Eachus rushed for 160 yards and three TDs as the Raiders (6-4, 3-2 Patriot) beat the Bison (1-9, 1-3) in Lewisburg, Pa.

Indiana 27, West Chester 10 - Fourth-quarter TD runs by Darryl Herod and Teddy Blakeman led the Crimson Hawks (6-5) past the Golden Rams (4-7) in a nonleague game in Indiana, Pa.

California 57, Cheyney 6 - Josh Portis threw five touchdown passes as the No. 10 Vulcans (10-1) defeated the Wolves (1-10) in a nonleague game in California, Pa.

Kutztown 27, Gannon 24 - Kevin Morton passed for 288 yards and two TDs and Erik Frazier had 111 receiving yards as the Bears finished a school-record 10-1 with win the nonleague win in Erie.

C.W. Post 42, Slippery Rock 38 - Erik Anderkavich hit Joe Botti with a 63-yard TD pass with 1:32 left to play to give the Post (7-4) the nonleague win at Slippery Rock (7-4).

Shippensburg 41, Lock Haven 17 - Kevin Marshall caught scoring passes for the game's first two TDs as the Raiders (5-6) won the nonleague game at Lock Haven (0-11).

Shippensburg coach Rocky Rees retired after the game with a record of 122-110-1.

Norfolk State 31, Delaware State 21 - DeAngelo Branche rushed for 212 yards and three TDs to lead the Spartans (5-5, 4-4) past the Hornets (2-8, 1-6) in a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference game in Norfolk, Va.
