Villanova athletes will run tomorrow for a good cause.

The university is sponsoring "Running with the Wildcats," a 5K run on campus to benefit the Each One Counts Foundation, a philanthropy that provides funding for hospice care for terminally ill children.

The brainchild of Brian Harrington, a member of the 1985 national championship basketball team, "Running with the Wildcats" will have the men's basketball team lending support (though not racing), as well as a number of other Villanova student-athletes.

"Our hope is that this run will bring greater awareness for the need of pediatric hospice," Harrington said. "Each year, over 50,000 children in the U.S. need hospice care and less than 1 percent get it."

Race registration runs through today at the Connelly Center on campus, as well as before the 10 a.m. race. For more information, go to www.eachonecounts.org. *
