Joy to the world

THE DAILY NEWS Eagles Fan Panel can't contain its excitement after the thrilling win over the Giants. I have been watching the Eagles my whole life (43 years) and that was the greatest comeback I have ever seen, even better than the Miracle at the Meadowlands in 1978. When Jackson scored on the punt return I screamed so loud I think they could hear me in New York. I was even crying tears of happiness.

Today epitomized the entire season. What an amazing team the Eagles have been. As bad as they played and as far behind as they got, they never gave up. You could see the fear in the eyes of Manning and Coughlin at the end - that they were afraid to lose. The Eagles have fed on the fear of every opponent this year, and I am truly proud to be an Eagles fan. One more win and we are set for the playoffs! Thank you Michael Vick & D-Jax for working your miracles!

Christmas comes early!! Twice this week Philly gets over on NYC with Cliff Lee coming here and the Giants coughing up the game today. The Eagles were totally outplayed in the first half, but clawed their way back to totally deflate the Giants. This pretty much clinches the division, and gives them a lot of momentum going into the remainder of the season and playoffs.

Miracle at the Meadowlands, the Sequel!

As improbable as Cliff Lee's return, the Eagles played an amazing, sparkling, final half-quarter to beat their nemesis. It was ugly for three-and-a-half quarters. Even the denouement, with Jackson fumbling the punt and then finding a gap that he could skinny through and run far enough to tightrope-walk the goal line, was breathtaking. Oh New York . . . how Philly has spit in your eye this week!
