RUSHING OFFENSE
The Giants neutralized LeSean McCoy for the second straight time this season, holding him to 48 yards on 15 carries, seven yards in the first half. McCoy had just two rushing first downs and six of his 15 carries gained two or fewer yards.
Grade: D
PASSING OFFENSE
Michael Vick lasted just four possessions before reinjuring his hamstring. He completed 6 of 9 passes, but for only 31 yards and two first downs and had an interception. Matt Barkley completed 65 percent of his attempts, but had a costly red zone fumble that killed a potential score late in the second quarter.
Grade: D-minus
RUN DEFENSE
The Eagles did a good against the league's 31st ranked rushing offense, holding the Giants to 2.8 yards per carry and just three rushing first downs. Twenty-one of the Giants' 31 rushing attempts gained three or fewer yards. None were longer than nine yards.
Grade: A-minus
PASS DEFENSE
The Eagles' did a good job of keeping the Giants' receivers in front of them and limiting their yards after the catch. Victor Cruz and Hakeem Nicks combined for 14 receptions, but averaged just 9.8 yards per catch. The Eagles did give up a killer 10-yard pass from Eli Manning to tight end Brandon Myers on third-and-eight with three minutes left in the game that allowed the Giants to kill the clock.
Grade: B-plus
SPECIAL TEAMS
The Eagles' coverage units were solid. Punter Donnie Jones had a 42.8-yard net average and allowed just two of his six punts to be returned. The Eagles once again got little out of their return game. Chip Kelly opted to go for it on fourth-and-10 early in the third quarter rather than have Alex Henery attempt an against-the-wind 50-yard field goal.
Grade: C-plus
OVERALL
For the second straight week, the Eagles failed to score an offensive touchdown, wasting a solid effort by the defense. Chip Kelly made a number of curious in-game decisions, including trying an onside kick with 4 minutes left in the game and earlier, going for it on the fourth-and-10 rather than have Alex Henery attempt a 50-yard field goal.
