What to know about the Eagles

• The Eagles are looking to figure out who will emerge as the team's nickel cornerback. Paul Domowitch thinks the favorite to win the job is Sidney Jones, the Eagles 2017 second-round draft pick who sat out all of last season with a ruptured Achilles tendon.

• There's also a position battle for weak-side linebacker. According to Zach Berman, Nate Gerry and Kamu Grugier-Hill are the top contenders, and both should get significant playing time tonight.

• Darius Prince, the Arena Bowl MVP who signed with the Eagles on Aug. 18, is hoping to overcome the odds and make it onto the team's 53-man roster. "When you want something so bad, you have to sacrifice," he told my colleague DeArbea Walker.

What to know about the Browns

• Browns head coach Hue Jackson is very excited about a squad that's gone 4-44 over the past three seasons. "Probably more excited than I've been the first two years because I truly believe that winning is in this group," Jackson told reporters Wednesday.

• There's optimism in Vegas as well. According to ESPN, there are more bets on the Browns to win the AFC North than the Bengals, Steelers, and Ravens combined. For the record, the last time the Browns won their division was 1989, when they still resided in the AFC Central.
