You Talkin' to Me? Tweeting the Finals a cool idea
It's been 13 years since the Flyers organization played a Stanley Cup Finals game at home. Most of the guys on the current roster have never played in the Finals before this year.

Bernie, what was it like the first time you skated on home ice during the Stanley Cup, and do either of you two think the pomp and pageantry of the event affects the way some of the guys play?

The first time I skated on home ice during the Finals, the ice was smooth and cold. LOL !!! To be honest with you, it was so exciting it cannot be put into words. You are on auto pilot. I was so focused all I heard was a loud noise of the crowd.
It can be overwhelming, so in your preparation it's very important to stay very disciplined. If you don't stay focused you can get caught up in the hype of the game, and it can get away from you.

Someone e-mailed me, Bernie, and thought Ashley or I made up the parts where you've writen "LOL." I assured him it was all you. My mom uses LOL a lot, too. I find the generational shift on that sort of thing fascinating.
Next, I think we ought to start a Twitter account for you. You'd be great. You have to give the people what they want: Bernie by the barrelful.
