A busy weekend on track with 5 championship meets

There will be five track and field championships involving Southeastern Pennsylvania athletes this weekend. The Public League championships will be held at 1 p.m. tomorrow at Northeast. The PIAA District 1 championships are scheduled for tomorrow and Saturday at Coatesville, with 9 a.m. starts on both days.

There will be five track and field championships involving Southeastern Pennsylvania athletes this weekend.

The Public League championships will be held at 1 p.m. tomorrow at Northeast. The PIAA District 1 championships are scheduled for tomorrow and Saturday at Coatesville, with 9 a.m. starts on both days.

Also on Saturday, there will be two private-school league championships involving area teams. The Friends Schools League meet will be held at 9 a.m. at Germantown Friends School, and the Inter-Ac boys' League meet is set for 10 a.m. at Germantown Academy.

On Sunday, the Catholic League championships are scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. at Widener University.
