Hensel named coach of C.B. West football

Central Bucks West yesterday announced the hiring of Brian Hensel as its head football coach. Hensel, a teacher in the Central Bucks School District since 1993, had spent the last five seasons as an assistant coach for the Central Bucks South football team.

Hensel is a member of the Archbishop Ryan football Hall of Fame.

After playing for and graduating from Lehigh University, Hensel earned his master of education degree while coaching at Lehigh.

Hensel replaced Chris Felton, who resigned after a 3-7 season.

Coleman to Boston College.

Radnor wide receiver Jonathan Coleman has made an oral commitment to play football on scholarship at Boston College next season, the school announced.

Coleman, in only his second year of playing organized football, caught 32 passes for 458 yards and six touchdowns this season. The 6-foot-4, 205-pounder played junior varsity last season.
