The eighth annual Jameer Nelson/Pete Nelson Philly.com/Rally Classic, with 24 games over the next four days, will feature some of the East Coast's premier players. Contests will be held at Plymouth Whitemarsh, Widener University, and Lower Merion.

Aquille Carr, a dynamic 5-foot-7 point guard from Baltimore's Patterson High, will showcase his skills twice at Widener. Carr and the Clippers face Plymouth Whitemarsh on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m., and take on Jeremiah Worthem and Math, Civics & Sciences on Friday at 3:15 p.m.

Because he packs the gym and empties the streets whenever he plays, the high-leaping Carr, a junior who averaged 31.3 points per game last season, is nicknamed "The Crime Stopper."

At 3:15 p.m. Wednesday at Widener, Andre Horne and Newark (Del.) meet Academy of the New Church, led by 6-6 senior swingman and Fairfield commit Marcus Gilbert. Horne, a 6-4 senior wing guard and Division I recruit, formerly played for Roman Catholic.

Tournament action begins Tuesday, including four games at Plymouth Whitemarsh. The 8:30 p.m. nightcap pits Council Rock North, with senior point guard and Maryland-Baltimore County commit Aaron Morgan, against La Salle.

At 8 p.m. Tuesday at Lower Merion, the host Aces square off against up-and-coming Church Farm.

Wednesday at Widener, in an 8:15 p.m. start, Chester, ranked No. 1 in Southeastern Pennsylvania by The Inquirer, clashes with No. 4 Imhotep Charter.

At 5 p.m. Friday at Widener, following Patterson (Md.) vs. MC&S, No. 5 St. Joseph's Prep battles No. 8 Lower Merion.
