S.J. Boys' Soccer Player of the Year: Luis Rivandeneira, Rancocas Valley

Luis Rivadeneira Rancocas Valley, midfielder, sr.

Before the season, Rancocas Valley coach Damon Petras said he expected Rivadeneira to be "the maestro" of his team. It turned out to be an apt description of the senior midfielder's role for one of South Jersey's top teams.

Rivadeneira, one of the state's most technically sound players, helped orchestrate one of RV's most successful seasons in recent memory, leading the team to a 19-2-3 record, a second straight Burlington County Liberty Division title, and the team's first Coaches Tournament title since 2009.
