The District 1 Class AAAA semifinal was scoreless heading into the 10th. Because of the international tiebreaker, both teams began the inning with a runner on second.

Oltman worked out of a first-and-third jam in the top half. In the bottom, Erin Hallahan delivered a two-out RBI single to send the Vikings to a 1-0 victory at Downingtown West.

Oltman struck out 10 in a four-hitter.

Balint fanned 14 and allowed just three hits.

Perkiomen Valley was seeded second. Avon Grove was No. 6.

Owen J. Roberts 6, Great Valley 5 - Nikki Testa drove in Emily Shaheen with a chopper in the bottom of the 10th to give the ninth-seeded Wildcats the win over the 20th-seeded Patriots at Spring-Ford.

District 1 Class AA Softball Semifinals

Amanda Clark went 2 for 4 with a double, a home run, and two RBIs to power No. 2 St. Basil to a 15-2 victory over No. 3 New Hope-Solebury at William Tennent.

Zina Robbins-Maldonado did it all for No. 1 Friends Select in its 9-0 triumph over No. 5 Faith Christian at Plymouth Whitemarsh.

The junior struck out nine and went 2 for 4 with a triple, two runs, and two RBIs. Sesley Cruz went 3 for 3 with two runs and two RBIs.

Bristol 17, Calvary Christian 2 - Olivia D'Emidio went 3 for 3 with a triple and two RBIs as the No. 2 seed defeated the No. 3 seed at Pennsbury.
