Sports writers to honor Halladay

Roy Halladay will pick up one more award when the Philadelphia Sports Writers Association honors him as 2010's Outstanding Professional Athlete.

Halladay will headline another star-studded dais when the association holds its 107th annual banquet on Monday, Jan. 31.

Also being honored is Halladay's Phillies teammate, Shane Victorino, with the Humanitarian Award. The Flyers will be recognized as the Team of the Year for their stirring run through last spring's Stanley Cup playoffs. Ian Laperriere will be there to accept for the franchise.
