Minor Leagues: Kratz's ninth-inning home run propels IronPigs

MOOSIC, Pa. - The Lehigh Valley IronPigs' Erik Kratz drilled a two-run home run in the top of the ninth to lead his team past the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees, 6-5, in an International League game Friday at PNC Park.

Kratz's blast scored Cory Sullivan, who pinch-ran after Tagg Bozied led off the inning with a double, his second hit of the game.

READING - The Flying Squirrels broke a 1-1 tie with a three-run sixth inning and held on to defeat the Phillies, 4-3, in an Eastern League contest at FirstEnergy Stadium.

The big blow came off the bat of Roger Kieschnick. He delivered a two-run, two-out triple to right to give Richmond a three-run lead.
