MAJOR LEAGUE SOCCER

Union (7-4-5) at

D.C. United (4-5-6).

Saturday, 7 p.m. at RFK Stadium. TV: Fox Soccer Channel.

Last game: The Union won, 3-2, against visiting Chivas USA last Saturday. United played visiting Houston to a 2-2 draw last Saturday. The Union are 2-4-1 on the road. D.C. United is 2-2-4 at home.

Outlook: The big news this week was United's acquisition of midfielder Dwayne De Rosario from the New York Red Bulls for Dax McCarty. This is the second time the Union will face De Rosario shortly after he was traded. De Rosario was traded April 1 from Toronto to the Red Bulls and played in New York's 1-0 loss at PPL Park on April 9. D. C. United also acquired defender Brandon McDonald this week from San Jose. United is without designated player Branko Boskovic, out with a season-ending ACL injury. In addition, forward Charlie Davies is listed as probable with a right ankle sprain. Davies, who shares the MLS lead with eight goals, trained with the team Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday this week.

Union team manager Peter Nowak says that his team is healthy. With 26 points, the Union hold a two-point lead over the second-place Red Bulls in the Eastern Conference and have a game in hand. Danny Mwanga, who had the game-winner in last week's victory over Chivas USA, leads the Union with five goals.
