About the Union: The three Union players called up for international duty will be available for Wednesday's game: Defender Carlos Valdes (Colombia), midfielder Keon Daniel (Trinidad and Tobago), and midfielder Gabriel Gomez (Panama). . . . Hackworth said Freddy Adu (quadriceps strain) would not make the trip to Illinois.

About the Fire: As part of their 15-year anniversary celebration, the Fire are honoring the team's finest at the game, including former Union manager Peter Nowak. . . . Fire coach Frank Klopas and defender Gonzalo Segares will miss the game because Klopas received a red card and Segares picked up two yellows in their last game.
