Canadian National Lacrosse Team takes three Wings to World Championship

Commerce City, Colorado will host the World Lacrosse Championships this coming July, and the Canadian National Team is bringing a couple of Wings along for the ride.

Brodie Merrill, Jordan Hall, and Kevin Crowley will join their brethren in the Centennial State; Merrill and Hall will return to the championships as veterans from 2010; Crowley will be making his first appearance.

"I am thrilled for Brodie [Merrill], Jordan [Hall], and Kevin [Crowley] to have the opportunity to participate in the World Championships and represent their country," said Wings President Michael French. "These three deserve the honor and rightfully earned the chance to compete on the world stage."

July 10, the three Wings will make their 2014 debut against the United States, against whom Team Canada faltered in the 2010 championship game. They will have plenty of company as 20 of the team's 24 players are on the roster of an NLL team as well.
