Teenager arrested in school bomb threat
A Cinnaminson High School student was arrested today in connection with a bomb threat that forced the evacuation of the school on Thursday.
Cinnaminson police said they arrested the 15 year-old freshman at noon Friday inside the school. He was charged with causing a false public alarm and terroristic threats. The student was released to his mother.
Police and six bomb sniffing K-9s responded to the high school, on Riverton Road at 10:45 a.m. Thursday. They said they were responding to information from a teacher who discovered a message written on a bathroom wall claiming there was a bomb in the building. Students were evacuated from the school and then dismissed early for the day. Police said they had no motive was given for the bomb threat.
