Fancy Brigades prep for Mummers Day 2024

The most theatrical Mummers division, the Fancy Brigades put their own spin on the New Year's tradition by bringing their revelry indoors with Broadway-quality choreographed performances at the Convention Center since 1998.

While clubs prepare their sets and stages, the public is invited to Fancy Brigade Fest (Dec. 29-31) from 6 -10 p.m. on Friday evening, and noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Visitors can also catch a preview of the performances as members hold full-scale rehearsals each night. On New Years Day they offer two ticketed shows, at 11:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.
