Philadelphia is expected to receive 8 to 12 inches of snow by Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service. A state of emergency went into effect in New Jersey at 7 p.m. Sunday. Gov. Phil Murphy said all six “mega-sites” for coronavirus vaccinations will be closed Monday. Philadelphia has declared a snow emergency, which means cars must be moved off snow emergency routes and people with Monday trash pickup should hold their trash until next week. SEPTA has reported some Regional Rail delays and cancelations, while vehicle restrictions are in place on local highways.
