Photos of Memorial Day weekend in Deptford, N.J.

Deptford Township holds their annual Memorial Day observance on Sunday, May 25, 2025, to honor the fallen men and women of the township who died in America’s wars going back to the Revolution.

A memorial service was held at the township’s Buddy Powell Memorial, followed by a kids bike decorating contest and parade through the Oak Valley neighborhood. A second observance at Veterans Memorial Park and a picnic of burgers, hot dogs, and potato and pasta salads finished off the free family day out.
