James Trovarello searches online Italian birth and death records from 1812 in the town of Rogliano in the Calabria region of southern Italy for a client, at his South Philadelphia home. He got into genealogy as a hobby 30 years ago, going to Italy dozens of times to trace his lineage back to Italian soldiers of fortune from the 13th century.
