President Donald Trump’s former adviser Kellyanne Conway said late Friday that she has tested positive for the coronavirus, days after attending a White House event with several others who have since come down with COVID-19.

“Tonight I tested positive for COVID-19. My symptoms are mild (light cough) and I’m feeling fine,” Conway wrote on the social media platform. “I have begun a quarantine process in consultation with physicians. As always, my heart is with everyone affected by this global pandemic.”

Conway, whose official title was counselor to the president, said she left the White House in August to focus on her family.

Yet, she was present at the White House Rose Garden on Sept. 26 when President Trump announced his Supreme Court nomination.

Prior to Conway’s tweet, her daughter, Claudia Conway, took to TikTok to alert her 880,000 followers that her mom had been diagnosed with COVID-19.

“im furious. wear your masks,” she wrote
