Before we get started, a disclaimer. The game of the weekend was going to be the Lyon vs. Paris Saint-Germain showdown for first place in the French women’s league, but it was postponed Friday due to COVID-19 cases in PSG’s squad.

Leeds United vs. Chelsea

Saturday, 7:30 a.m. (NBCSN, Universo)

Take a moment to stop worrying about Christian Pulisic’s lack of playing time, and take in one of English soccer’s most historic rivalries. But it’s a matchup we haven’t seen much in recent times. Chelsea hasn’t played at Leeds since the 2012-13 League Cup, and hasn’t visited Elland Road for a Premier League game since Dec. 6, 2003.

As frustrating as it is for American fans that Pulisic isn’t playing much, you can’t argue with Chelsea’s recent results. The Blues are on a 12-game unbeaten streak in all competitions, including recent wins over Everton, Liverpool, and Atlético Madrid.

Werder Bremen vs. Bayern Munich

Saturday, 9:30 a.m. (ESPN+)

Bremen’s Josh Sargent has been in great form lately, with goals in three straight games. If he can make it four against the Bundesliga’s top team, it will be his biggest goal yet.

Red Bull Salzburg vs. Admira Wacker

Saturday, 11:30 a.m. (FTF Live)

Perched atop the Austrian Bundesliga with a five-point lead, Brenden Aaronson will run into a former Union teammate in this game. Andrew Wooten signed with Admira in January after a snake-bitten tenure here. Naturally, he has three goals and an assist in eight games in Austria.

Before you ask why Wooten couldn’t do it here, ask why the Union haven’t signed any new attackers this offseason. It’s a better use of your time.

Getafe vs. Atlético Madrid

Saturday, 3 p.m. (beIN Sports, beIN Sports Español)

Atlético got the crucial win it needed Wednesday over Athletic Bilbao to take a six-point lead atop La Liga. This should be another victory, as Getafe is down in 15th.

RB Leipzig vs. Eintracht Frankfurt

Sunday, 10:30 a.m. (ESPN+)

Obviously this game matters for Tyler Adams and Leipzig, as they try to stay within two points of Bayern ahead of a meeting on April 3. But this might be a bigger moment for fourth-place Frankfurt, which is trying to reach the Champions League for the first time since 2006.

Arsenal vs. Tottenham Hotspur

Sunday, 12:30 p.m. (NBCSN, Telemundo)

Tenth place in the Premier League hosts seventh as these teams try to find a way to edge into Europe next season.

OK, it’s not that simple. It never is when these North London archrivals meet. It matters plenty that Arsenal hasn’t beaten Tottenham in three years, encompassing five games. Spurs certainly aren’t out of the Champions League race, five points back of fourth-place Chelsea with a game in hand. But on paper, the standings don’t make this game look as good as it usually is.

Milan vs. Napoli

Sunday, 3:45 p.m. (ESPN+)

Milan got a morale-boosting 1-1 tie at Manchester United on Thursday in the Europa League with a 92nd-minute equalizer. Now attention turns back to Serie A, where the rossoneri are six points back of first-place crosstown rival Inter. Is this game a must-win? It might just be. And it might be for Napoli, too, in sixth and three points back of the last Champions League berth.

Chivas vs. América

Sunday, 10 p.m. (Telemundo, Universo)

It’s time for the latest edition of Mexico’s Súper Clásico, the rivalry game between Liga MX’s most popular teams. América makes the trip from Mexico City to Guadalajara in second place, led by star playmaker Gio dos Santos and goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa. New manager Santiago Solari, a former Real Madrid player who briefly attended Stockton University in Galloway Township, is enjoying a fine start to his first season in charge.

Chivas is in ninth, for reasons including José Juan Macías’ injury and Oribe Peralta’s failure to score yet this season.
