What I Do
I’m a video editor at The Philadelphia Inquirer, where I strive to tell visual stories about the people, places, and ideas that shape our region. I bring a documentary filmmaker’s eye to my work, and as a puzzle and problem solver at heart, I love finding the human moments and details that bring a story together.
My Background
I’m a University of the Arts alum, documentary filmmaker, and editor with more than 15 years of experience working across documentaries, television, and commercial projects. My work has screened at festivals including Tribeca, DC/DOX, IDFA, and Mountainfilm, and my credits include "Sabbath Queen," "The Darkest Light," "The Last Out," and "Angel Dose," winner of a Mid-Atlantic Regional Emmy.
Outside the edit room, I taught film editing at UArts and now teach film editing and post-production at Rider University and serve on the Steering Committee of the Alliance of Documentary Editors. I’m drawn to character-driven stories and the small, human moments that can make a much bigger story come alive.
When I’m not editing, I’m usually playing bass (poorly), mountain biking, splitboarding in the New England backcountry, or running around the playgrounds of Fairmount trying to keep up with my daughter.
