Temple forward Jaleesa Molina is entering the transfer portal, On3 reported this week. Molina spent three seasons with the Owls and averaged 7.4 points and six rebounds across 81 games (61 starts).

Molina joined Temple before the 2023-24 season from the Hague, Netherlands, after representing her home country in multiple three-on-three international events like the U18 World Cup in August 2022 and the FIBA U18 European Championships.

The 6-foot-3 junior was a key reserve in her first season with the Owls, averaging 11.4 minutes in 27 games. There was an adjustment to American basketball for Molina as she averaged 3.6 points and 2.4 rebounds, but her playing time decreased significantly in the second half of that season.

She moved into the starting lineup for the 2024-25 season and took a significant step in production. Molina struggled through nonconference play before hitting her stride in American Conference action. She recorded seven double-doubles in conference action and she finished with averages of 7.5 points and seven rebounds.

Molina elevated her game again this year, averaging 9.9 points and 7.4 rebounds. She also improved from beyond the arc, making 15 threes after only making four in her first two seasons. However, Molina struggled with turnovers, committing a team-leading 100.

Molina will have one season of eligibility remaining.
