Jason Kelce will do on-course reporting during Masters week. Could the PGA Championship be next?
The former Eagles center reportedly will interview golfers and their families during the annual Wednesday Par 3 contest at Augusta National.

It looks like Jason Kelce’s golf training has paid off. The former Eagles center is preparing for his Masters debut as he continues taking a swing at a new role: golf broadcasting.
Kelce will act as an on-course reporter for ESPN during the Masters Par 3 Contest at Augusta National, according to Front Office Sports’ David Rumsey. The annual contest takes place on Wednesday, April 8, the day before the main tournament begins.
The event is a family affair, with children, wives, and girlfriends or other family members serving as caddies while contestants compete in a stress-free nine holes on Augusta’s short course. Kelce reportedly will be conducting interviews with players and their families as they compete.
Kelce is no stranger to the golf world.
During the PGA Tour’s stop at Philadelphia Cricket Club for the 2025 Truist Championship, Kelce competed in the pro-am event, playing with Shane Lowry, the tournament’s 54-hole leader and eventual runner-up. Kelce has also competed in several other golf events, both locally and nationally, since his retirement, including the American Century Championship in Lake Tahoe, the First Tee Mike Quick Celebrity Invitational in Philly, and even his own event, in which he hired hecklers to follow him around.
As for broadcasting golf, Kelce also has some experience there. Earlier this month, he made his TGL debut, acting as a guest ESPN commentator and getting a behind-the-scenes look at the league’s indoor golf experience.
With all of this newfound golf knowledge under his belt, could Aronimink be the next stop for the seven-time Pro Bowler?
In May, the PGA Championship will make its way to Delaware County, specifically Newtown Square’s Aronimink Golf Club, which is basically Kelce’s backyard. And with all four rounds airing entirely or in part on ESPN, it wouldn’t come as a surprise if the Super Bowl champion is again involved in some shape or form.
If he does tee it up again, here’s hoping it goes better than this tee shot at Quick’s event last summer.
