Ah yes, Philadelphia: the City of Brotherly Love … and contestants on The Bachelor?

When the 28th season of the long-running, debatably effective ABC dating show returns on Jan. 22, it will be full of Philly bonafides. The Bachelor himself will be Joey Graziadei, a son of Montgomery County, while three of the 32 women vying for his heart will hail from Philly.

And because this is reality television, that group of Philly ladies includes a pair of sisters who have allegedly dated the same guy before.

Graziadei, 28, grew up in Collegeville and played tennis at West Chester University before moving to Hawaii, where he taught tennis lessons on and off at a luxury resort, according to his LinkedIn. He was a fan favorite and runner up on season 20 of The Bachelorette, where Charity Lawson ultimately gave her final rose to Dotun Olubeko. (Yes, they are still together).

Graziadei has said all he wants in a partner is “someone to do life with,” which as far as The Inquirer is concerned, is vague enough to sound exactly like a Philly lady. That life, however, won’t include Eagles games — Graziadei is a Green Bay Packers fan.

Here’s what to know about the three Philly women competing for Graziadei, a man they realistically could’ve met at McGillins.

Elenie Latsios, 27

Elenie Latsios — who goes by Lanie — is a realtor with Compass, where she sells real estate predominantly in Graduate Hospital, Society Hill, and Washington and Rittenhouse Squares. She is not related to another contestant on the show.

Latsios attended Shippensburg University and Temple University, where she graduated in 2018 with a degree in entrepreneurial studies, according to her LinkedIn. Latsios comes from a large Polish and Greek family, says her contestant bio, and “wants to find a love like her parents have,” since they’ve been married 30 years.

Latsios is “tired of situationships,” (aren’t we all?) and wants to find a partner who will travel with her. Her big aspiration? To buy a house in Greece someday.

Allison Hollinger, 26

Hollinger is also a realtor, and the younger sister of fellow contestant Lauren Hollinger.

Though ABC describes the two as “best friends,” the Hollingers have apparently been in a similar situation on at least one other occasion.

The two have “dated the same guy before (at different times),” says Allison’s bio. “So let’s hope that experience prepared them for The Bachelor.”

Hollinger does have some discernible personality traits: She likes dressing up, drinking a gin spritz, and has won several costume contests.

Lauren Hollinger, 28

Lauren is a registered nurse who works for Jazzi Cosmetic Surgery & Aesthetic Medicine, a plastic surgery and dermatology office near Rittenhouse Square.

She is also Allison’s older sister, and “very close with her family,” according to ABC.

“Lauren loves a man who is motivated, funny, and with whom she feels safe,” reads her bio. “She is a true romantic and thinks she’s single because her standards are high.”

Lauren enjoys attending group fitness classes and music festivals, but does not enjoy men with bad hygiene, according to her bio. She also had a punk phase — “spikes and chains included.”
