October is the start of spooky season. One might kick it off with a PSL. But at The Inquirer, this month is Dining Guide season. Each year we spend months putting together the best food journalism we possibly can, and that includes photography.

This year’s guide took eight Inquirer staff photographers and nearly 200 photos to make the final product. Here are some of the best — and tastiest — images from the 2022 Dining Guide.
