Cafe Walnut

Korean, Sandwich$-$$

The Lee family’s subterranean storefront eatery, just across the street from Washington Square, has turned heads with its flavorful spins on the classic breakfast sandwich, including the bulgogi, egg and cheese and the spicy pork, egg and cheese (each available on both bagel and croissant). Café Walnut’s lunch options are similarly notable, with a menu packed with traditional and Korean-infused iterations of salads and sandwiches, plus tea, coffee, misugaru and smoothies.
